1. Main Unit (Capsule Compression System): The main unit is the core equipment of the soft capsule machine. Its function is to simultaneously complete the preparation of the capsule film, the quantitative supply of contents (liquid and paste materials), and the encapsulation of capsules.
2. Drying Rotary Chamber (Drying System): The dryer consists of one rotating chamber and one fan. By adjusting the rotation direction of the chamber, capsules can be left inside for drying or discharged from the chamber. The dryer is mainly used for the shaping and drying in soft capsule production, and can also be used for the dynamic drying of granular materials in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
3. Chiller: The chiller is mainly used for the cold solidification and molding of the capsule shell.
4. Gelatin Dissolving Tank (Gelatin System): The gelatin dissolving tank is welded from three layers of stainless steel and is mainly used to dissolve gelatin and other excipients. It provides the required gelatin solution to the main unit, and the gelatin solution is automatically fed by sensor.
5. Drying Tray (Drying System): Used for the sun drying of soft capsules.
6. Air Compressor: The air compressor primarily provides pressure to the dissolving tank, delivering the dissolved adhesive to the capsule container on the main body of the soft capsule machine.
7. Vacuum Pump: The vacuum pump is mainly used to eliminate air bubbles in the adhesive solution; its use depends on the specific needs.

The fill volume of a soft capsule is its nominal fill volume, measured in drops, with one drop equal to 0.0616115 ml. When a suspension is made into soft capsules, the required soft capsule size can be expressed as the “matrix adsorption rate” (the number of grams of liquid matrix required to make 1 g of solid drug into a filled capsule suspension).
